Operator and app licence
Etmasha is operated by Ibrahim Elsherbini. Contact support@etmasha.com for service questions. Last updated: 3 November 2026.
Use of the app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. This page explains the product and subscription; it does not replace the Apple licence or the purchase conditions shown by Apple.
What Etmasha does
Etmasha is a personal walking and movement diary for iPhone and iPad. It is not an emergency service, navigation system, medical device or guarantee of continuous precise location tracking. Routes and activity labels depend on available device evidence.
Permission to use location does not guarantee uninterrupted recording. A powered-off device, a force-quit app, missing sensors or system restrictions can create gaps. Use the app’s status view to check readiness. Do not interact with the app while driving.
Subscription and trial
A subscription is required for new paid recording and processing. Both plans include the same app features. The US base prices are $4.99 per month or $19.99 per year; Apple displays the actual localized price and applicable taxes before purchase.
Eligible users can receive a 14-day introductory trial. Eligibility is determined by Apple for the subscription group. The trial begins when the subscription transaction succeeds, not at installation. There is no permanent free recording plan.
Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A trial converts to the selected paid plan unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Follow the exact billing terms and renewal date in Apple’s purchase sheet and subscription settings.
Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app, diary or support inbox does not cancel an Apple subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple.
History and restoration
When paid access ends, existing history remains available to read, export and delete. New paid recording and processing stop when access expires.
Restoring an eligible purchase restores access, not a lost diary. Each device has its own local history. Etmasha 1.0 does not synchronize diaries between iPhone and iPad. Keep any exports you want to retain securely.
Optional services
Health access, address lookup and notification categories have separate choices. Support messages are processed by the service when you choose to send them. The privacy notice describes the relevant data flows.
Do not include another person’s private information in a support message without a lawful reason to share it. Do not send passwords, recovery credentials or payment-card details.
Availability
Check the availability page for the current release status and App Store listing. This website does not take payments or create a subscription. The live App Store listing determines device and country availability.
